Hi, I’m Ashley!
I’m a Yoga Therapist & Reiki Master specializing in supporting people living with chronic pain and chronic illness.
I know that navigating life with chronic pain and chronic illness is not easy.
Yoga and Yoga Therapy have played a huge role in making my life less painful and debilitating. Both have given me the gift of improved health and vitality I never thought was possible before!
This is why I’m so passionate about Yoga and why I dedicated 4 years to becoming a Yoga Therapist.
I know the massive impact Yoga can make on a person’s life and how Yoga Therapy can change everything. It has for me.
What is Yoga Therapy?
The International Association of Yoga Therapists defines yoga therapy as "the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga."
I like to think of Yoga Therapy as a form of lifestyle medicine–it can help us find more balance in our lives, physically, mentally, emotionally, even spiritually. What that balance looks like is completely unique to you, your life, and your goals.
Since each person on this planet is so unique, the tools and practices of Yoga that support one person will most often look completely different from what supports another.
It can feel so overwhelming trying to figure this all out on your own (believe me, I’ve been there), so having a teacher to navigate the winding road to balance makes the journey easier, less stressful and much more enjoyable overall!
